The Company:
Major player in the renewables sector is looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join their Project Controls Team. This role is long term working on windfarm projects.

The Role:
The Senior Planning Engineer will be involved in Windfarm development and construction projects.
Complex projects - value in excess of £15bn

Hands on Experienced Planning Engineer required, no staff reporting in.
The role will involve substantial use of Primavera P6.
Initial work is FEED/Consenting.
Must be self motivated and able to drive the schedule.

The successful Planning Engineer will be able to develop schedules from scratch, understand logic and CPA, converse easily with numerous stakeholders and will understand the importance of driving a schedule by identifying and explaining delays, issues, risks, opportunities, etc

Based full time in Windsor with minimal UK travel.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experienced Senior Planning Engineer with experience across all phases (FEED, Design, Supply, Construction etc)
Experience of large projects for major engineering companies.
Experience of multi - contract environment.
Detailed knowledge/experience of Primavera P6 - version 6 as a minimum.
Advanced Excel.
Must be a hands on Planning Engineer able to drive the schedule.
Dynamic, outgoing, pusher - self starter.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of major wind farm construction projects, although major engineering company and energy / oil and gas background will be considered.
Hands on experience of SAP useful.
