They believe that it is the people that drive their success, from Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants to designers and commercial personnel. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK.

The Role:
Senior Planning Engineer required ASAP, to provide focal point planning function on a project and assure compliance with planning systems and procedures.

Main Duties:
o Establishing and working within corporate and project specific planning procedures.
o Studying and understanding all relevant documents, pertaining to preparation of plans and schedules in compliance with
contractual conditions.
o Formulating or developing operational plans and schedules with assigned project manager or project engineers to meet project
objectives.
o Liaising with other members of the project team and in particular the senior cost engineer on the day to day analysis of job
status.
o Ensuring maintenance of up to date knowledge of computer planning systems.
o Liaising with discipline supervisors and engineers when establishing project schedules.
o Carrying out special investigations on ‘adhoc basis’ and generate miscellaneous control schedules.
o Ensuring progress data is complied and discipline progress figures are generated.
o Analysing all deviations form the approved plans and identify potential problems.
o With respect to schedule and resource requirements.
o Highlighting to assigned project manager areas of slippage and concern allow corrective action to be taken.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered Engineer or HNC in engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Planning policies and practices.
• Understand all relevant project documents pertaining to the preparation of plans and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with the development of sensible and achievable logic linked networks with single start and single finish
activities.
• Critical path analysis.
• Earned value analysis.
• Prepare timely reports to enable effective project decision making.
• Planning for offshore brown field modifications Including Repair Orders and Construction.
