The Company:
Leading integrated energy company. A major player in exploration and production, power generation & trading they use their strong brands and distinctive assets and capabilities to achieve success in their chosen markets.

The Role:
Our Client is due to commence FEED stage on an overseas CNG project in October 2012 and is setting up a project services team in Windsor to support the project. Extensive overseas travel will be required.

Accountability includes:

Overall responsibility for planning & scheduling of all project scope taking responsibility for day-to-day planning activities and the integration of contractor schedules into the overall project schedule.
Manage development and reporting of the overall project schedule.
Oversee contractor planning and scheduling and provide analysis to client team.
Maintenance of project processes and procedures for planning and scheduling, ensuring compliance with Client business unit expectations and integration of contractor operating practices.
Establish baseline KPI’s with contractor and client team.
Establishment and ongoing maintenance of overall project performance measurement procedure.
Ensure ongoing management and analysis of performance measurement against baseline including validation of contractors monthly progress measurement.
Provide planning and scheduling input into management of change process.
Actively participate in risk and mitigation identification.
Undertake schedule risk analysis as required ensuring coordination with the cost risk process and change management process.
Oversee timely receipt and analysis of contractor project reporting.
Develop and deliver stake holder reports.
Oversee project reporting.
Tender evaluation / clarification as required.
Experience of standard office, planning and risk analysis software is essential.
Must be prepared to undertake business travel.

Project Timetable:
9-12 months - Define phase - Windsor based with extensive overseas travel
24+ months - Execute phase - location TBA

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Requirement is immediate.
Extensive planning experience preferably with client organisations.
Oil and gas industry experience.
Onshore experience.
Overseas experience.
