We are keen to speak with an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to work on an Australian LNG development from a site based role in Western Australia, on a FIFO basis. The role will be to support the project schedule plan and help to thoroughly analyse the planning activities and project durations.

The successful individual will:
• Support the project Schedule Plan and Basis of Schedule Control System, admin, training, data integrity
• Provide thorough analysis for planning activities, assessment of durations and logic in Primavera software
• Deliver Phase 4 Project Controls (Planning, Reporting and Action Tracking)
• Deliver the validation of Contractors Progress Measurement Systems, schedules, including s/c plans, quantity systems
• Proactively engages with Managers and disciplines to establish schedules as well as identify and resolve issues
• Supports analysis of schedule from multiple subcontractors and incorporate the information gathered into the overall [Company] project master schedule, level 0, 1 & 2
• Supports the assurance review and validation of integrated, detailed schedules and challenge contractors detailed schedules
• Delivers schedule reports and works with Project Controls on progress and resource reporting, monitoring and analysis
• Delivers the analyses monthly deviations from plan and supports mitigation plans and work a rounds
• Evaluates allocation of resources and provide recommendations to maintain required progress
• Works closely with Project Controls for change management and corresponding impacts on project schedules as well as evaluation of earned value
• Participates in project reviews, assurances and risk assessments

Essential Requirements
1. Must have knowledge of the oil and gas industry with experience in execution of large construction Projects
2. Must have a minimum of 10 years relevant business planning and analysis experience and be at a Senior Planning level.
3. Must have the ability to perform, evaluate and communicate planning analysis of site related, construction and commissioning activities.
4. Must be accountable for activity and possess the drive and commitment to construction based project work
5. Must demonstrate superior analytical and planning and communication skills and commitment to safety
