The Company:
Our Client is a specialist provider of engineering, operations and maintenance services to the owners of energy assets around the world. Due to significant increases in projects they require the most experienced and professional Engineers available.

The Role:
Accountable for producing and delivering all planning reports and deliverables in a timely manner
Main Duties:
Reporting to the Business Services Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of forward planning deliverables on a major project.
The role requires a candidate who can be hands on in producing daily detailed planning deliverables and work as part of the team whilst also being able to review and plan at a strategic level to maximise KPI's and schedule performance.
Key tasks will be working within current planning team and liaison with project and construction engineers, as well as close liaison with client reps in order to provide project management and the Client with execution options and alternative means of project delivery and analysis, still ensuring all elements of plans reflect the scope of work, contract KPI's and the resource planning can be forecast and met. Ability to interpret FEED requirements and provide options going forward into detailed design and construction execution and understand Client drivers will be main area of focus.
Requirement to interface daily with both the project planning team and Client reps. Development and continues improvement of planning processes and procedures to ensure efficient ‘lean' methods of working are adopted.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified or technically qualified
Extensive planning experience including recent experience in a senior / lead position.
Extensive E&C planning experience across both minor mods and large capex projects. Proficient in the use of planning tools (P3 / WPS preferred) and Microsoft project, Microsoft Excel.
Risk Awareness training preferred. Awareness of lean engineering and associated estimating tools would be an advantage

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Good communication skills to ensure correct information is being sought and received from all other departments. Team Player requirements
