The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
To provide planning and resource control as needed to the CPF Offshore project facilities teams.
Prepare clear and concise overview reports and documentation on any issues in relation to the schedule, assist the principal planning engineer as needed on a day to day basis.
Attend meetings with contractors, review schedules presented and make recommendation to improve the schedules presented.
Liaise with Perth planning department as needed on matters relating to schedule reporting under the guidance of the principal planning engineer.
Provide an independent assessment of contractor.
Maintain close coordination with Project planning groups in other locations and input as required.
Assist the Operations team as needed.
Develop and maintain a planning database of all schedules, resources, equipment, schedule reports and provide details to satisfy central offshore planning requirements.
To provide effective support to all Project personnel.
To ensure that all activities are in line with client Corporate and Project Guidelines.
Co-ordination of planning effort provided by contractors and supervise and assist their planning engineers in developing Level 3 schedules.
Closely monitor all aspects of the schedule, appraise and advise the Offshore Lead Planning Engineer, Project Controls Mangers and Project Team of progress and trends; make recommendations for preventive or corrective action in the event of any deviations from the program.
Liaise with the contractors’ and associated licensors’ and /or subcontractors’ planning engineers; with regards to the status of agreed deliverables.
Develop and maintain strong teamwork within the Project planning team

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor degree and minimum 5 years Oil & Gas Industry experience.
Proficient in primavera P6.
Microsoft Office products
Broad understanding of Cost Control and Contract Administration without being a specialist.
Highly developed cross-cultural influencing skills for work with subcontract staff of varied nationalities and backgrounds.
