The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.

In Australia they are involved in one of the largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently recruiting for a Senior Planning Engineer - Offshore who will be responsible for all planning activities for the development of Offshore facilities so that they meet the Company's requirements.

Responsibilities:
Provide a complete planning, control and monitoring service to the Offshore project facilities team, covering all contractors and associated licensors/sub-contractors.
Co-ordination of planning effort provided by contractors and supervise/assist their planning engineers in developing Lv 3 schedules.
Develop and maintain the overall offshore integrated schedule which sits in the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Closely monitor all aspects of the schedule, appraise & advise the Project Services Manager of progress and trends; make recommendations for preventive or corrective action in the event of any deviations from the program.
Liaise with the contractors and associated licensors/sub-contractors planning engineers; with regards to the status of agreed deliverables.
Present clear and concise planning documentation and reports on a regular basis, inclusive of bars charts and networks.
Attend progress/Co-ordination meetings.
Provide an independent assessment of individual contractors progress.
Assist the Operations team in development of a completions/systems handover and commissioning schedule.
Maintain close integration with Project Services groups in other locations and input as required.
Provision of effective construction planning and Co-ordination of the project team inclusive of contractors, licensors and sub-contractors.
Ensure that planning activities have satisfactory incorporated the requirements of project and appropriate regulations.
Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
Ensure the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field
10 years plus planning in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Proficient with Primavera and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of generally accepted planning methods.
All generally accepted project life cycle phases, and typical key deliverable requirements from each phase.
