The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Planning Engineer - URF to join the Perth team.

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for planning activities for the development of offshore facilities especially URF area so that they meet the Company's requirements.

Responsibilities:
• To provide planning, control and monitoring service to the URF project facilities team, covering all contractors and associated licensors/sub-contractors.
• Conduct validation of the EPC’s planning submissions and ensure that they meet the requirements of the business.
• Assist in maintaining the overall onshore integrated schedule which sits in the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Perth.
• Liaise with the contractors and associated licensors/sub-contractors planning engineers; with regards to the status of agreed deliverables.
• Present clear and concise planning reports / documentation on a regular basis, this would include bar charts and networks, man-hours loading, S-curves and productivity reports.
• Attend progress / co-ordination meetings.
• Provide an independent assessment of individual contractor’s monthly progress.
• Assist the Operations team in development of a completions/systems handover and pre-commissioning / commissioning schedule.
• Maintain close integration with Project Services groups in other locations and input as required.

Objectives:
• Provision of effective construction planning and co-ordination of the project team inclusive of contractors, licensors and sub-contractors.
• To ensure that planning activities have satisfactory incorporated the requirements of project and appropriate regulations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field, or min 10 years planning in the Oil & Gas Industry including 4/5 years of SURF projects development.
• Proficient with Primavera products including Primavera, MS Project and Pertmaster software.
• Microsoft Office products including Excel, Power Point and Word.
• Broad understanding of facilities engineering and Project Control issues without being a specialist.
• Highly developed cross cultural influencing skills for work with subcontract staff of varied nationalities and backgrounds.
• Able to work in an integrated team environment.
• Working as the Client and as Contractor in a Client / Contractor environment, having dealt with Sub-Contractor and Vendors
