The Company:
Our Client is a leading Government owned utilities company with assets across Western Australia. Their main objective is to provide sustainable management across various services.

The Role:
*Develop and deliver systems to support reporting for Delivery Managers and Project Directors, enabling efficient and effective project portfolio management.
*Provide analysis and reporting on portfolios of projects to the Delivery and Branch Managers. Provide commentary on the validity of forecasts, identify key risks, identify variance from plan and recommend action to ensure targets are achieved.
*Provide specialist analyst advice on large, complex projects including alternate delivery strategies
*Analyse contractor schedules to highlight risks and identify actions to ensure deliverables are met.
*Perform root cause analysis on key variance issues and recommend change initiative for improved performance
*Monitor branch performance against KPIs, and recommend actions to improve performance
*Provide back up to project analysts from time to time, develop and maintain schedules, costs and forecasts for projects.
*Compile information for Priority Ones or Briefing Notes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
*Tertiary level qualification in engineering, project management or relevant discipline and considerable experience in and sound knowledge of providing engineering project analytical services,
OR
Extensive experience in and sound knowledge of providing engineering portfolio analytical services
*Demonstrated computing skills and knowledge of engineering, project management and SAP software applications, and Microsoft suite of systems.
*Demonstrated knowledge of project analysis principles and practices.
*Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills.
*Considerable experience in or exposure to engineering design and/or construction practices.
*Considerable experience in the use of project management software
*Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop others in project control principles and practices.
