Job Title: Senior/Principal Project Installation Engineers
Job Location: London and South East
Rate/Salary: Negotiable

The Company:
Our client is a leading seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services contractor to the offshore energy industry worldwide, currently engaged in some of the worlds most technically advanced and high profile projects.

The Role:
•Prepare / coordinate procurement, fabrication and installation documentation (scopes of work, procedures, drawings, sketches, etc).
•Review technical project documentation.
•Prepare and resolve technical queries.
•Manage engineering personnel within the project team.
•Control / coordinate procurement, fabrication and installation activities.
•Prepare and deliver presentations at HIRAs, TBTs etc.
•Prepare and manage onshore and offshore construction schedule.
•Identify technical aspects of contract variations.
•Compile fabrication and offshore construction "as-built" documentation packages.
•Train / supervise / mentor more junior Project Engineers and graduates.

•Control and manage all pre-mob, mob and de-mob activities.
•Prepare and deliver project briefings to offshore construction personnel.
•Ensure technical accuracy and compliance of offshore construction and inspection activities
•Act as Focal Point for the resolution of technical issues raised during the offshore construction and inspection activities.
•Manage offshore engineering issues and third party subcontractors.
•Manage the offshore construction schedule.
•Management of Change.
•Highlight contract variations during the offshore construction activities and compile supporting evidence and documentation.
•Review Daily Progress Reports (prior to issue) for technical accuracy and completeness.
•Act as Focal Point for the compilation of "as-built" documentation.
•Be accountable for the expediting of equipment on-hire to off-hire.
•Be accountable for the delivery and return of all internal project equipment.
•Acceptance on completion of fabrication and construction activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Comprehensive experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
•Construction / IRM
•DSV / ROVSV operations
•Flexible pipelines / risers / umbilicals
Offshore medical and survival certificates are essential due to offshore trips to fabrication sites and overseas.
Ability to articulate learning experiences is essential.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
It is desirable for candidates to be degree qualified in an Engineering discipline however, demonstrable relevant industry experience will also be considered for candidates who are not degree qualified.
Previous Project Engineering experience.
