Our client is a Global Engineering & Construction (E&C) Group inside which you’ll find an incredible range of expertise and opportunity.

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Engineer, with a broad range of Process skills, who is able to perform in a client-facing role. The right candidate will be highly motivated, able to work independently, and have excellent analytical & communication skills. Sound technical knowledge, coupled with leadership and decision making skills, are required to ensure the delivery to challenging project and client targets.

Responsibilities:
• Carry out process engineering studies & design activities, following relevant standards and procedures to schedule and budget as advised by the project line manager
• Develop, review, and take responsibility for the accuracy of process engineering deliverables
• Supervise the work of junior engineers where applicable
• Remain up to date with the latest technical developments in your fields of expertise
• Demonstrate, provide and develop appropriate technical solutions for specific project issues
• Provide technical expertise and support to business winning activity as required
• Review and audit process engineering activity on projects and support internal development and continuous improvement activity as required
• Ensure the delivery of challenging project and client targets using sound technical knowledge and decision making skills
• Mentoring, coaching and development of junior staff
• Ensure Company and Client Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures are followed and that a high standard of safety is achieved in all associated work
• Lead, coordinate and motivate small teams, plan work and provide clear technical direction
• Balance commercial and technical risk using acquired commercial acumen
• Seek the opportunity for corporate and project improvement and developing solutions

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A successful career path with demonstrable environmental engineering expertise in the oil and gas sector
• Familiarity with key EU & UK environmental regulations applicable to the onshore oil & gas sector (PPC, IED)
• Proven process engineering design experience
• Chemical Engineering degree (minimum)
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent
• Flexibility is essential as occasional international travel may be required, usually of relatively short duration, but potentially with little notice
• A self-motivated, proactive individual with high achievement drive and initiative, excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organisational awareness
• Ability to impact and influence fellow workers
• Demonstration of customer focus and ability to respond to customer needs whilst achieving project and corporate objectives
• Display analytical and innovation skills to manage new technology
