The Role:
This role is to carry out Process Engineering in support of Upstream Development

- Identifying and selecting the optimum facilities concept by working in and leading integrated discipline/business teams.
- Optimising the asset performance throughout its lifetime.
- Finding innovative and cost effective engineering solutions that are integrated into the TECOP spectrum, to unlock reserves and to optimise and improve production capacities of the surface facilities.

Execute the Process Engineering work within the Area Team.
- Carry out conceptual engineering and optimisation studies in order to define engineering projects in terms of technical scope, cost execution strategy and duration.
- Co-ordinate internal and external interfaces and manage their resolution.
- Deliver preliminary process designs and models for production systems.
- Maintain and develop skills and to pass on knowledge and experience to other team members.
- Collective team performance is measured in terms of customer satisfaction and demonstrable value.
- Any previous experience in the development of difficult hydrocarbons will be a benefit.
- Occasional to frequent travel may be required, depending on the work at hand.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Gained experience as process engineer in the HC industry relevant to FE study team activities.
- A high degree of skill in relevant process engineering skills for the upstream and front end engineering.
- You should be a technical professional with a solid technical background, good communication and inter-personal skills coupled with strong hands-on operating experience.
- You will need to demonstrate the attitude to develop and be effective across a wider skill spectrum (technical, commercial and interpersonal).
