The Role:
Using state-of-the-art facilities, you'll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our clients Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

The Engine Manufacturing Centre (EMC) is a new state-of-the-art production facility to produce the next generation of advanced engines to power the future vehicles of the our clients brand.

Powertrain Production Operations is responsible for the manufacture of our clients new engine to support the next generation of vehicles. Delivering a premium product, the production operations team will establish, introduce and develop the new facility to ensure a first-class service to our customer base.

This role reports into the Production Team Manager within Assembly Operations, with ownership and responsibility of all process and test-related engineering activity from an operational perspective. Process, Quality and Test Engineers will report into this role.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

As an Engine Assembly Senior Process Engineer, you'll be able to work independently, manage priorities and effectively lead a team of engineers to ensure that issues are identified and solutions developed before you implement them through your team's own initiative. All this, coupled with a desire to make a difference, should fuel your tenacity to achieve results. In addition, you'll demonstrate drive, a creative flair and a customer-focused approach. Owing to your good organisational and multi-tasking skills, you'll successfully manage changing priorities whilst still maintaining focus.

Ideally you'll be qualified to a degree level in an engineering discipline (or hold an equivalent qualification) and show extensive experience and knowledge of engine assembly or testing, or have transferable skills from related industries.

Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
