The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.

In Australia they are involved in one of the largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
The role of Senior Process Engineer will form part of the clients team on this Major LNG Project to be based in Australia.

The main responsibilities will be to work under the direction of the Onshore Process Manager within the Onshore Facility Engineering Team and supervise the EPC contractor regarding process design and engineering to ensure that the technical work conforms to the project requirements especially in terms of quality, cost and schedule.

Liaise with other internal project disciplines regarding process design and engineering matters for the development of the onshore LNG facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

•Ensure operations and maintenance requirements are incorporated in the design
•Liaise, as required, with JV Partner to seek design alignment
•Responsible for the review and acceptance of the design developed by engineering contractor / sub-contractor for civil and infrastructure work scope for onshore LNG facility.
•Ensure project deliverables and activities associated with the Onshore LNG facilities civil and building design are achieved in accordance with project milestone dates, budget and technical requirements of BOD
•Support/advise the project team and the EPC Contractor on resolution of engineering queries and request for waivers.
•Direct/advise the EPC Contractor on all aspects of civil design, construction and installation of process module or equipment on civil foundations.
•Ensure that project specifications are complied with and deviations are substantiated in line with project procedures

In addition, the role will be responsible for the technical bid evaluation related to civil / infrastructure and building scope, technical clarifications, inspections during construction

•Also, participate in Design Reviews and Constructability Reviews etc as required.
•Assist in identifying project risks and implement agreed mitigation measures as required
•Have detailed understanding and knowledge of civil design including foundations for modules / process equipment.
•Support/advise the project team and Contractor on civil design during detailed engineering and construction of the Onshore LNG Plant to meet project requirements.
•Have understanding of the design aspects of other engineering disciplines effecting or being effected by civil design.
•Prepare technical reports and presentations as required
•Responsible for the technical bid evaluation related to civil / infrastructure and building scope, technical clarifications, inspections during construction.
•Organize, manage and control Third Party support studies as required
•Organise, plan and participate in technical multi-discipline reviews as required
•Organize regular progress/technical meetings with Contractor
•Proactively adhere to and promote the Client/Company workplace values and behaviours exercising tolerance and respect for diversity.
•Work collaboratively within the Client team organisation and with Contractor to achieve alignment on strategies and documentation required to achieve objectives
•Interface effectively within a multicultural and multiethnic working environment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Degree qualification in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
•Affiliation and membership with recognized professional bodies is desirable
•Have detailed understanding and knowledge of process design of LNG facilities.
•Support/advise the project team and Contractor on process design during detailed engineering and construction of the Onshore LNG Plant to meet project requirements.
•Have understanding of the design aspects of other engineering disciplines effecting or being effected by process design.
•Prepare technical reports and presentations as required
•Manage and control Third Party support studies as required
•Participate in technical multi-discipline reviews as required

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Extenstive experience in process engineering of large size onshore LNG / gas processing projects
•Project experience in different project phases i.e. front end, detailed design, commissioning and start-up is preferable.
•High awareness of safe working practices associated with process design of LNG facilities.
•Previous working experience in the Australian projects is preferable.
•Highly organized, self motivated results orientated person.
