The Role:
Lead, plan, direct and control all the activities in the relevant IT division for development and delivery of IT services to meet business needs. Ensure committed portfolio of projects and services are delivered within agreed constraints.
1. Collaborate with the business on project ideation and drive delivery of new technical capabilities.
2. Ensure the development of IT measurement, reporting standards and procedures through the definition of requirements in order to improve monitoring and diagnosis frameworks.
3. Translate IT Strategy into specific initiatives and actions for a division or team and act on those initiatives to implement the IT Strategy.
4. Maintain deep expertise in the technology, software, and methodologies associated with the division.
5. Ensure stable, ongoing configuration, break/fix support and maintenance for all supported systems and services.
6. Ensure that transitioned and developed services meet Operational and Service Level Requirements, and are measurable and monitored.
7. Provide input on the department’s annual budget requirements. As assigned, manage division or program/project budgets and financial reporting.
8. Establish relationships with external service providers to agree on terms and conditions that best protect the interest of Sadara for software licensing and maintenance agreement. Request assistance from the Legal department if necessary.
9. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/ manager.

Managerial Duties:
1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by Division staff.
2. Ensure all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with Sadara’s policies and procedures.
3. Assess the current skill set of employees and identify the need for development programs.
4. Motivate, coach, develop and support employees.
