The Company:
Our client, a major international oil & gas company, has an immediate need for a Senior Project Controls Specialist.

The Role:
• Reports to the Project Control Manager.
• Participate in different phases of a project development from feasibility to start-up
• Establish the project control basis for the project and perform baseline updates according to client's requirements
• Establish and maintain system for scheduling, progress measurements and quantity control
• Implement Company's system for project control including change management, risk management, contract and cost control and quality management in accordance with working requirements
• Participate in contract preparations and evaluations with focus on project controls requirements.
• Compile and issue Monthly reports
• Benchmarking of Cost & Schedule
• Ensure contractors are in compliance with company Project Control requirements with smooth flow of reporting from contractors to company Management systems.
• Conduct quality audits for the project on a regular basis and follow-up the actions.
• Secure estimating of projects in corporation with in house estimating group and contractors
• Close-out of contracts and relevant project close-out activities
• Secure experience transfer from projects
• Establish and maintain Risk register for modification projects.
• Establish support documentation for Decision Gates process.
• Position will require short/ long term assignment on Project sites based on the project needs

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within project control in development projects representing an owner/operating company
• Experience in early project stages including Regulatory
• Well rounded business acumen with high standards and business ethics in line with Company's values
• Well organized; Capable of handling multiple tasks from different stakeholders
• Able to meet deadlines and follow through on tasks to completion
• Excellent written communication and oral command of English
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent team player and possess a structured work practice
