The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national Oil and Gas Operator which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves in conducting operations in accordance with the world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
The Senior Electrical Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for providing technical as well as project engineering support to the CSC Project during all phases of Engineering:

The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for:
oTechnical review of the FEED Contractors Deliverables for all electrical design, focused on the technical designs, specifications, job packs, material take-off lists and as well as technical and drawings quality. Ensure that FEED deliverables meets project/ requirements and Engineering Standards. Pro-actively plan and execute Electrical Engineering work activities.
oEnsuring Operational Excellence, Operations Assurance and Safety in Design requirements are satisfied during all Engineering phases.
oSupport IIF culture within team and champion within FEED & Detailed Design Engineering Contractor.
oSupport or develop the required documentation to support Project Assurance activities and Approval Gates and participation in these activities as required.
oMentoring and developing the technical skills of Kazakh National staff in the Electrical group.

•Electrical/Power: Sound knowledge of designs and modification of power distribution and transmission systems as well as large horsepower electric motors. Witnesses tests of large motors. Knowledge of computer models and reviews of models as would be advantageous.
•Project Knowledge: Must have demonstrated major capital project (MCP) experience in project management practices, development and implementation of project procedures, and Project Execution Plan formulation, interface management and quality practices.
•Leadership - Ability to gain alignment and enthusiasm around reaching world class performance. Ability to work interfaces with numerous disciplines within the project team, operations and contractor personnel on multiple existing major capital project teams. recognized as providing a positive team environment where people want to come and work. Allows people to contribute their best and fosters learning and mentoring culture.
•Work Processes: Demonstrated experience implementing sound project procedures and systems including management of change, Project Development and Execution Processes (CPDEP) and practices and, good management style.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The candidate must have an Electrical engineering degree with a minimum of ten years experience.
Familiar with both Project Management systems and procedures. Familiarity with petrochemical design would be advantageous. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
