The Company:
Our Client is one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in Europe.

The Role:
Job Purpose:
Concept Select Phase
Finalise the Scope of Work and Basis of Design
Concept Update contractor management (scope, CTR, cost, schedule, progress, deliverables quality, change, interface, contracts documents, close-out, etc)
Identify key project risks and issues, develop and implement mitigation plan
Reporting study progress and presentation to all stakeholders

FEED Contractor Selection
Selection of the contractor in line with the Contracting Strategy
Preparation of the full ITT packages (FEED and iPMT), working closely with the C&P department
Devise the appropriate FEED and iPMT Selection Criteria
Responsible for the FEED and iPMT Tender Evaluation Plan
Managing the whole tendering process including kick-off, bid clarifications and responses, review and scoring of bids, recommendation to award, follow up on approvals, etc
Co-ordinating the inputs from all disciplines and technical specialists
Transition from Select to Define Phase
Finalise the Scope of Work for FEED
Preparing the decision support required for the gate. Responsible for the Project and Engineering Management deliverables and obtaining input from other disciplines (Subsurface, Well Engineering, Operations, Commercial & Economics, Social & Environmental, etc)

Define Phase
Cost, Schedule & Quality Management
Custodian of risk and opportunities register
Identification and implementation of Value Engineering initiatives.
Appropriate application of Codes and Standards for an onshore development
Ensure compliance with Company Delivery Model
Co-ordinate and lead peer review, audits, assurances
Ensure quality deliverables by having project audits
Devise and execute effective change and interface management processes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Proven experience of E&P field or project engineering with initial focus on concept, FEED and FDP.
Operator experience
Motivated self-starter with hands on approach to delivery
Experience in large scale onshore oil development with complex and multidimensional challenges to resolve (waxy crude, large well-count, high water-cut, remote location, environmental & social constraints, etc) with low cost mindset
Proven track record of working with other disciplines and external contractor management.
Sufficient subsurface and well engineering knowledge to be able to communicate and integrate technical issues
Familiar with cost/value drivers relating to fast track development, construction strategies, alternative project contracting and execution strategies, reservoir management and well engineering/drilling.
Demonstrable specific experience in Owner/Operator of e.g.:
Track record of interfacing and co-ordination capability
Well developed Management of Change skills
