The Role:
This role is based is West of Shetland (please note that there is an overnight allownace).

Reporting to the Area Projects and Mods Manager, the Senior/Project Engineer is accountable for delivery of a portfolio of multi-discipline Brownfield engineering projects or major maintenance activities. Post holder will act as Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for all stages of the project or major maintenance activity and specifically be responsible for delivery of all engineering requirements, ensuring they are fully compliant with company’s processes and standards.

Key accountabilities
• Effective and efficient development, design, execution and closeout of a portfolio of projects.
• Ensure that project design deliverables provide safe and reliable facilities and are in compliance with company ETP’s and STP’s
• Manage portfolio from Appraise through to Operation – ensuring compliance with company’s gated Project process and SVT’s gated planning process.
• BRO for designated budgets.
• Development of key CVP deliverables (DSP, PEP, procurement strategy, HSSE plan, eMOC etc.)
• Drive and direct company and contractors to provide quality and timely Engineering and Construction deliverables for all assigned projects
• Manage the delivery of scope from the Engineering, Construction and other contractors within their respective Estimate/Purchase Order values
• Ensure demolition procedure is formally delivered and understood by all new construction engineers
• Ensuring timely delivery of accurate planning information to the Asset Planning process and Project Progress Tracker.
• Support the Project team in Driving the Continuous Improvement of delivery of Projects and Major maintenance activity across SVT.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Significant experience related to Oil & Gas or Chemical Operations preferably including specific experience in implementing Brownfield projects, modifications, shut-down turnarounds.
• Proven track record in engineering delivery with specific experience in performance management and continuous improvement
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching and team building skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Significant experience related to Onshore Operations or Projects
• Experience of BP Project Management processes
