The Role:
Incident and Injury Free (IIF) performance while achieving timely delivery of projects within cost expectations
Initial review and assessment of proposed opportunities for Brownfield facilities and processing system modifications (pre-project & Capital Project Development and Execution Processes)
Concept Selection, Design, Construction, Commissioning & Startup and Close Out of facilities projects
Management of selected E&C Contractor for project
Ensure that the design meets the project performance requirements and the company safety, quality, and technical standards
Ensure adherence to Capital Project Development and Execution Processes, Operational Excellence and CUE processes, procedures and reviews and UK regulations.
Ensure approval decisions on projects are made at appropriate level; Asset Operations and Production Team leaders (OPTL), Ops Decision Review Boards (DRB), etc.
Support business planning and work schedule planning as required by Asset Teams and Maintenance, Reliability and Integrity (MRI) Group
Provide technical mentoring and possibly supervision to other Process/ Facilities Engineers within CUE

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in design, construction, installation and/ or commissioning.
-Experience as primary or lead facilities or project engineer on Brownfield or Greenfield projects supervising or directing the work of one or more engineers or serving as a Company design representative in a Design Contractor's office.
-Demonstrated capability to handle complex and concurrent projects with multiple facets. Brownfield project experience is preferred.
-Technical Competence in facilities engineering design and construction skill areas for offshore topsides production, utilities and injection systems. Additional working knowledge or competence in Subsea pipelines, production and injection systems is desirable.
Competent in the application of relevant Chevron, Industry or Regulatory design, construction and safety standards, codes and regulations. Also capable of modifying existing or developing new technical standards that are fit-for-purpose based upon a project's location or specific scope.
