The Company:

The Role:
We now require Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to plan and manage the safe execution of decommissioning activities. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in a challenging world class decommissioning project.

Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Project Execution Manager, lead, plan and manage decommissioning activities. This will include topsides, subsea facilities scope, heavy lift load in, and demolition and recycling at an onshore facility.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multi discipline internal and contractor teams.
• Determine scope and cost, prepare execution strategies and plans and lead implementation.
• Secure and manage internal and external approvals.
• Execute plans safely and efficiently, in line with internal and external commitments.
• Identify efficiency gaining opportunities and implement improvement plans.
• Identify and capture learning applicable to all the platforms and company’s global project portfolio. Significant interfaces with production operations and other company project teams will be an inherent characteristic of the work.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified engineer, broad based technical knowledge.
• Post graduation experience (Project Engineer) or (Senior Project Engineer).
• Established track record in all stages of execution of offshore projects, preferably having spent significant time gaining experience offshore.
• Experience of leading and managing contractor teams.
• Highly motivated, self-starter, confident communicator, excellent people and communication skills. Mentoring and skills development will be provided. Flexibility from these requirements will be considered for exceptional candidates.
