The Company:
Our Client is an emerging multi-discipline engineering and project management consultancy, with a reputation for providing high quality, cost effective services to the resource sector.

The Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Mechanical and Civil/Structural Project Engineers.

The Project Engineers will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for:

•Ensuring project designs meet the specific requirements of the project, are cost effective and comply with the required standards and regulations;
•Developing technical and functional equipment specifications;
•Developing clearly defined Scope’s of Work;
•Provision of engineering services and technical assistance as necessary;
•Contract management support;
•Preparing budget estimates;
•Construction management support;
•Project scheduling;
•Design and specification of supporting infrastructure; and
•Technical support for the procurement and contracting process.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•6 -10+ years experience operating in a Mechanical/Civil/Structural Project Engineering role within the Mining and Construction Industry;
•Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Civil/Structural engineering;
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
•Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise;
•Strong attention to detail and a proactive and ‘can do’ work approach;
•The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information;
•Enthusiasm, dedication and flexibility; and
•The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Candidates with the following experience will be highly regarded:

•Mineral/Iron Sands, Magnetite and Gold process plant experience;
•Site experience;
•Previous experience of working within an EPCM environment;
•Commercial exposure
