The Company:
Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of Senior Project Facility Engineers in Houston, Texas and Denver, CO.

The Role:
• Accountable for project HSE,cost,schedule and quality performance
• Accountable for interfacing with and managing design-engineering firm to deliver detailed design packages for construction
• Accountable for on-time engineering deliverables and prompt responses to construction requests for information
• Accountable for expediting and ensuring QC of packaged equipment and materials
• Accountable for work face planning techniques for multiple projects that support overall delivery of cost effective and on time projects
• Accountable for interfacing with construction personnel and contractors to ensure performance is being tracked and continuously improved
• Provide active field construction support during the execution phase and support project engineers when required
• Accountable for HSE leadership to ensure hazards are being identified and that adequate mitigations are in being applied
• Accountable for project HSE plans and for participation in incident investigations
• Accountable for Fit-for-Purpose application of Project Delivery Roadmap to all projects,and delivery of all necessary deliverables at DG4,including project scope definition,cost estimate,project execution plan and schedule
• Accountable for applying improvement initiatives/learnings across projects (especially those relating to Define phase & detailed design) as part of the continuous improvement to drive top quartile and goal zero safety performance
• Accountable to support the Project Delivery Team Leader in ensuring that project forecasting at various stages is accurate and aligned with the approved Capex funding
• Accountable to develop project related reports and departmental KPI's,analyze trends for performance and to report and/or advise Projects Manager as required
• Accountable for weekly status reporting and for monthly project updates on all projects (HSE,cost,schedule,quality,issues,etc.)
• Interface to ensure work is captured as part of integrated activity planning for the business
• Accountable for providing project data package and other OR&A deliverables to Operations at the end of each project to assist with Operations/Maintenance

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• B.S. Degree: Mechanical, Civil, Chemical engineer
• Experience in Project Management of CAO projects is necessary
• Experience working across a projects organization (e.g. with construction superintendents, project services team, development engineers, ventures) to ensure delivery
• Skilled at managing contractor performance and experience working with commercial arrangements
• Ability to generate Investment Proposals and Authority for Expenditures (AFEs)
• HSE/HEMP aspects of project definition/execution
• Effective management of project risks.
• Integrate operational requirements and philosophies into the project execution.
• A number of the operational sites have complex external stakeholder relationships which need to be included in overall project management and day to day project execution
