Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide.

The Role:
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Typically degree qualified Chartered Engineer with over 10 years experience in role/function or HNC/HND qualified with over 20 years relevant experience. Recognised by customers as a leading practitioner in project management. Manages projects over £10M and complex or fast-track projects including responsibility for scope definition, benefits analysis, front-end development, liaison with regulatory bodies and key customer personnel.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Senior Project Manager to manage a long term contract for the demolition and remediation of petrol stations (300) project throughout the UK and Ireland.
You will be responsible for the control and management of a large number of demolition and consultant contractors on this large scale and fast moving project whilst ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, project procedures and key project objectives. Managing The prioritisation and management of change (both technical and commercial) are key elements of the role in this fast moving environment.
Responsibilities:

• Management of the interface with the Client
• Leads the Team and provides Coaching and mentoring
• Developing the Project Strategy and the Project Execution Plan with the Project Director
• Determining the Project Organisation and main Roles and Responsibilities

• Delivery of Commercial Objectives
• Chairmanship of the Monthly Contractors meetings and ensures the minutes / actions are closed out
• Making sure that additional work is approved by the Client (as per the Procedures)
• Provides input to specifications for Invitations to Bid (see procurement plan) and approves final award to the Client
• Point of approval for minor changes to project procedures
• Provide additional training when required, including LPS
• Manages the project to ensure project deliverables and project targets are achieved and investigates none delivery
• Stewards compliance with project procedures, SHE Improvement Plan, LPS Stewardship and In-line Controls Audits.
• Follow up of audit actions from Client audits to make sure that actions are closed out and communicated to the client
• Attend Client Commercial audits and OIMS audits
• Liaises with Procurement on audits of Tier 2 contractors and their subcontractors
