The Company:
Our Client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over £2.6 billion. They believe that it is the people that drive their success, from Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants to designers and commercial personnel. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK.

The Role:
Manages a programme of medium sized upgrades or medium sized projects. Manage the cost and schedule of allocated projects; manage kick off and progress meetings to ensure project requirements are communicated to discipline Engineers and maintain the Technical Assurance of the Engineering process.

Supervisory and Managerial Duties:
o Engineering Disciplines
o Planning
o Supply Chain
o Construction
o QC

Main Duties:
o Shall be responsible for the management of all the allocated client Project/Modification from kick off to close out.
o Shall be responsible for raising the initiation CTR budget to allow the development of the SOW documentation and cost estimate.
o Shall be responsible for the organisation and management of the kick off and subsequent progress meetings.
o Shall be responsible for the development of the overall project budget and schedule and the management thereof.
o Shall be responsible for ensuring good communication of discipline issues
o Shall be responsible for keeping the client informed of progress cost and project issues.
o Shall ensure timely approval of project budgets and CTRs.
o Shall ensure delivery of each Project/Modification to budget and schedule, ensuring changes are managed and suitably approved by the client prior to implementation.
o Shall be the clients' primary focal point for allocated Project/Modifications.
o Shall maintain a constant dialogue with other Project Engineers, the Delivery Team Leader and Engineering Manager to ensure project priorities are maintained.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree and membership of a professional institution (ideally Mechanical or Process / Electrical / Instrumentation).

Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
o Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance.
o Understanding of commercial and technical Risk Assessments.
o Practitioner in project Risk Management processes.
