The Company:
Our Client is a well established leading Australian construction company with a multi-disciplinary capability across the mining, energy and resource industries. They have recently won a major expansion project and are now gearing up for the completion of a brownfield development within the CSG arena and are looking to employ an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee several business critical projects within their portfolio.

The Role:
As the Senior Project Manager you will have ultimate responsibility to effectively complete mid-sized pipeline projects ensuring that you meet all scope, schedule, financial and statutory obligations as the contractor. You will also be required to be the primary interface with the Client, Principal Contractor, Sub-contractors and internal staff members.

Please note that this role will require you to be hands on in your Project Management approach and you may find that you are involved in financial and project coordination activities despite the size of the project.

As part of your role you will be relied upon to investigate and pursue other business opportunities where you will assist in the engagement of current and prospective clients, tendering and estimating reviews.

In addition this position will have site based responsibilities which are yet to be determined.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, relevant Trades qualifications and/or Project Management certifications.
• Significant industry experience relevant to the pipeline and CSG industries.
• Extensive Hands-On Project Management experience on medium to large scale pipeline projects ie. 10 years+ & $50 million+
• The ability to take on all aspects of project management including financial control, programming of works etc.
• Exceptional people management skills
• The ability to positively build and influence relationships both internally and externally with the intention of procuring more business.
• Strong commercial acumen coupled with well developed communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to provide examples of successfully completed projects.
