The Role:
Primary Functions:
 Provide planning and scheduling support through all phases of the project from FEED to completion.
 Coordinate the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Object Breakdown Structure (OBS) with cost estimator and cost controller.
 Assign responsibility for the development and maintenance of the components that make up the overall project schedule.
 Liaise with Operator planner to ensure that the integrated schedule is accurately updated to meet the project requirements.
 Liaise and with key contractor planner to ensure that the contractor schedule meets the project requirements.
 Assess project deliverables against the Capital Projects Management System (CPMS) requirements and assign actions.
 Coordinate schedule risk analysis.
 Analyze project progress relative to schedule to detect deviations and progressing deviations early.
 Report project progress and schedule deviations to Project Management.
 Act as an advisor, to project management, on issues regarding the schedule
 Implement project documentation and data preservation routines.
 Participate in planning and scheduling Community of Practice and other schedule networks
 Assist in managing the Primavera schedule structure to be used for schedule control of the elements included in the UK Portfolio

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Offshore brownfield related project planning experience
 Planning and Scheduling to include: standards implementation and concurrence, Primavera implementation and use, implementation of Best Practice
 Fully compliant in planning, scheduling, and Primavera skills
 Solid understanding of Upstream projects and their management and control
 Strong communication skills
 Well-developed analytical skills with ability to asses project plans and identify gaps and risks
 Excellent problem solving skills
 Structured and disciplined
 Self motivated
 Accountable and delivers on commitments

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
 Bachelor degree (B.Sc.) or equivalent education. Less formal education may be compensated with documented relevant experience.
 Relevant experience within project management in the oil and gas industry as Project Planner in large Capital Projects. Mega project experience is preferable.
 Excellent Primavera knowledge
 Good knowledge of key capital project management processes.
