The Role:
We are recruiting for an experienced Project Planner / Project Scheduler to join the team. Our team is working with us for internationally renowned industry leaders in the pharmaceutical industry in Western Europe.
Purpose

The Planner function in a project, ensuring that all measures are taken to finish the work within the given frame regarding cost and time, with special emphasis on the projects prioritized objectives.
He also supports the Project Manager in all aspects to keep the project under control, allowing the successful achievement of the given project goals
Accountabilities

• Assist in the preparation of the Project Control Plan (PCP) and update the PCP as required
• Carries out the control in accordance with the process and procedures defined in the PCP for the
specific project
• Support the Project Manager in all aspects of setting up the project Master Schedule
• Establish and maintain the Project Control tools and systems required for Schedule Control during the course of a project
• Initiate, maintain and follow-up the Project Master Schedule for the Project
• Make sure that all contractor schedules are in line with the Project Master Schedule
• Responsible for initiation and monitoring of the progress measurement in the project
• Initiate, co-ordinate and review all Time estimates required during the project life cycle
• Supports the bid process until contract award and hand over contract administration to the PFA
• Appraise Contractor’s Project Control organization, procedures and systems
• Monitor and appraise Contractor’s Project Scheduler’s performance
• Responsible for the validity and completeness of all Project Controls Scheduling information
• Perform “What if” analyses whenever necessary and propose corrective actions to be taken in order to bring the project back on track
• Assists in the execution of the change order process and control
• Responsible for review and recommendation on delay claims analysis
• Responsible for drafting of the Time related sections of the PMR and all other local and global
reports with the respect to Project Controls
• Implements schedule and progress control
• Assists in the establishment and maintenances of the WBS & project master schedule
• Responsible for developing and implementing the Progress and Schedule Control tools
• Coordinates the preparation of the scheduling parts of cost estimates
• Reviews technical bids as member of the bid review team
• Assists the PCE to Implement and execute Change Management
• Drafts the project reports including Project Monthly Reports and the Project Completion Report
• Initiate and prepare schedules and schedule updates as required
• Ensures that Progress and Schedule Control activities are performed on the agreed cut-off dates
• Drafts the Project close-out schedule report and supports the Project Control Engineer
• Assists the Project manager in all task regarding project organization and presentation of the
project to the outside
• Stewards client’s detailed scheduling activities
• Prepares and/or coordinate the preparation of detailed schedules for sister projects and incorporate these together with client’s construction schedule into an over project schedule
• Stewards the interface schedule between client’s sister projects
• Monitoring progress of overall project
• Coordinate/assist preparation of pre-start up/commissioning detailed schedule including
subsequent follow up
• Provide on regular basis look ahead schedule including previous period, present period,
upcoming period
• Has custody of milestone report
• Work close together with construction team in order to control schedule

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• University Degree or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or project management
• At least 6 years of professional planning/scheduling experience with minimum 3 years in the area of Project planning/control or Project Management
Pharmaceutical or oil & gas industry experience
• Good to excellent command of English and preferably Dutch, other languages are beneficial
• Good to excellent experience with Scheduling applications
• Preferable experience with Primavera scheduling systems
• Good in analysing problems and developing recovery solutions
• Strong organisational skills
