The Company:
Our client, an international major oil and gas operator, seeks a Senior Quality Inspector to join their team.

The Role:
• Job Information- Installation of suction piles in 7000' of water aboard a vessel

• Monitor all aspects of Quality Control relative to specialization during the construction, to ensure adherence to the company technical requirements and applicable codes including SID (Safety in Design).
• Attend and witness testing associated with equipment and systems.
• Monitoring of procedures (for example WPS, PQR etc) and qualification testing. Verifying dimensions, certifications, material certification and traceability for all materials, and consumables.
• Assure contractor compliance with the approved program and review reports.
• Verify that all testing procedures have been approved and are on site. Confirm testing parameters are duly recorded and that testing equipment is calibrated.
• Review procedures for testing/examining components with the optimal method and techniques.
• Review and approve contractor work for all construction for quality and adherence to design requirements.
• Attend and witness testing associated with equipment and systems
• Ensure non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed out.

14/7 rotation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of ten (10) years experience in the specified inspection discipline and a minimum of ten (10) years of construction activities in the contract's scope of work e.g. oil, gas and/or petrochemical projects.
• Fully conversant with applicable industry standards and specifications; and shall perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision
• Able to read, interpret and communicate (both written and verbally) in English.
• Knowledge of job specified equipment including, but not limited to, the following equipment: pumps, motors, skids, valves, compressors, fired heaters, auxiliary equipment, packaged equipment piping systems, vessels and tanks.
