The Role:
As part of the Petroleum Engineering - Portfolio & Planning (ES-X) organisation the position is to :

Assure compliance of hydrocarbon resource management with corporate guidelines, international rules, industry standards and regulatory requirements - in particular with US SEC, SPE PRMS and state authorities.

Provide robust Annual Reserves/Resource volume submission in line with financial reporting obligations and business needs.

Coordinate Reserves Estimation Process throughout the company by guiding Internal Reserves Committees (IRC) in the branch offices and leading the Corporate Reserves Committee (CRC) in the Head Office
• Maintain and update consistent processes and standards for the Reserves Estimation workflow
• Ensure timely reporting of corporate Reserves/Resource and respective changes to Senior Management and Finance Group
• Manage periodic external assessments by an Independent Qualified Reserves Evaluator of the internally generated Reserves Estimates
• Provide education and regular training for Internal Qualified Reserves Estimators (QRE)
• Identify and update Hydrocarbon Resource Maturation options
• Maintain corporate Reserves/Resource Maturation opportunity portfolio
• Prepare input to financial disclosures for share holders and annual business report
• Maintain strong communication with Senior Management and Corporate Finance Group
• Monitor international development of Reserves/Resource evaluation standards

MSc Reservoir/Petroleum /Geo Engineering
+10 years adequate experience with reserves assurance and reporting
• Strong knowledge of reservoir depletion and development strategies and experience in Reserves/Resource management and economic evaluations with an international operating company
• Good command of the English Language
• Willingness to travel
• Motivated team player with good communication, coordination and strong problem solving skills
