The Company:

The Role:
1. Execute detailed reservoir engineering activities as part of integrated field studies, ensuring that dynamic risks/uncertainties are mitigated where possible and properly reflected in models/workflows which address decisions to be made.
2. Contribute to special dynamic modeling studies and to overall technical and economical evaluations of E&P opportunities.
3. Recommend usage of state of the art interpretation and evaluation technology.
4. Facilitate frequent communication with peers in the area/studies teams, such that opportunities for synergy and transfer of technology are realised.
5. Ensure work and results are compliant with DCAF Assurance and Shell HSE guidelines.
6. Co-ordinate internal and external interfaces and helps manage their resolution.
7. Occasionally contribute to the development of departmental plans and work methods.
8. Contribute to career development of more junior colleagues through coaching and mentoring.
9. Occasionally business visits may be required when working directly with Operating Units and ventures worldwide however most study work is normally conducted at the base location.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. University degree in a science subject.
2. 10+ years experience in a wide variety of reservoir engineering roles
3. A proven track record in the formulation, construction and execution of field development plans and participation in integrated field studies and reservoir modelling exercises, with proven experience in working in integrated multi disciplinary teams.
4. Execute detailed reservoir engineering activities as part of integrated field studies, ensuring that dynamic risks/uncertainties are mitigated where possible and properly reflected in models/workflows which address decisions to be made.
5. Hands-on RE capabilities including numerical modeling (MoReS, optionally Eclipse), uncertainty analysis (SUM, Experimental Design), well test interpretation (Saphir), PVT/EOS evaluation (PVTSim), SCAL interpretation (RELATE) and use of the above in dynamic models.
6. Candidates should also have a good knowledge of related geosciences.
