Job Description
Senior Reservoir Engineer with strong field development and well and reservoir management experience to join its Subsurface department.
The successful candidate will work (main task) on the TGT Field (sandstone reservoir) and may be required to work on the CNV Field (fractured granite basement reservoir).

Main Tasks
 Be an integral part of the Subsurface department. Responsible for reservoir engineering input to field development optimisation work and plans. Provide reservoir engineering input to new well drilling and evaluation.
 Maintain and update production and reservoir management plans.
 Support well intervention planning, implementation and evaluation, covering well and reservoir surveillance activity, well remedial activity including additional perforation and zonal isolation work etc.
 Perform well and reservoir performance monitoring and analysis. Identify and recommend actions to optimise production and reservoir performance.
 Support production forecasting work.
 Provide direct input/support to reservoir modelling/ simulation work.
 Identify, evaluate and recommend opportunities to optimise production and recovery.
 Provide support/ supervision to external work/ studies.
 Provide supervision and support to more junior reservoir engineering staff.
 Mentor and knowledge transfer to more junior staff. Share experience with other subsurface team members.
Work closely with other departments and external vendors on all related work activity.Job Requirements
Experience
At least ten (10) years of well-rounded oil & gas industry experience working in multi-disciplinary/multi-cultural teams with proven track record in adding value to assets through field development planning and optimisation along with other work. Demonstrated application of solid reservoir well and management skills, along with other petroleum/ reservoir engineering skills, including reservoir simulation modelling experience, is required. Experience should include work on clastic oil reservoir development, with water flooding and EOR experience preferred.


Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
(1) good analytical/ practical skills including demonstrated ability to use petroleum engineering principles to solve problems and identify enhancement opportunities,
(2) strong background in reservoir engineering including reservoir simulation and well and reservoir management,
(3) good overall practical oilfield operations knowledge/ experience,
(4) strong IT skills and proficiency in using commonly applied petroleum/ reservoir engineeringincluding EOR software; must have working knowledge of well and reservoir/ production management software,
(5) expertise in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) software,
(6) strong communication and interpersonal skillsand ability to work effectively with other disciplines including geoscientists, production and facilities engineers, commercial and other staff,
(7) good overall business sense/ awareness,
(8) well-developed report writing and presentation preparation and delivery skills
(9) fluency in English.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent, is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
