The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Primary Responsibilities

• Provision of reservoir engineering support (onshore RE focal point) during development drilling planning/operations, including well planning, real-time decision-making, well clean-up, production testing and well performance evaluation
• Provision of reservoir engineering input to definition/implementation of appropriate core analysis and fluid sampling/analysis programmes
• Effective communication of well planning/implementation issues to Subsurface management
• Analysis of well data and incorporation of results into reservoir modelling studies including fluid analysis, formation pressure evaluation and well test analysis
• Subsurface input to integrated production modeling
• Provide reservoir engineering input to well planning/execution reviews to management and third parties (inc. Joint Venture and government)
• Focal point for preparation of reservoir engineering operational procedures/guidelines for development drilling campaign

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 10+ years reservoir/petroleum engineering experience, including:

o Field development planning (preferably subsea gas field experience)
o Well planning – data acquisition, contingency planning, input to well/completion design, multi-disciplinary team work
o Operational experience (including on-site) during development well construction, including well testing and clean-up, well logging and fluid sampling
o Production experience – production management/optimization, well performance analysis, offshore operations
o Hydraulic modelling & nodal analysis
o Well test analysis (experience with SAPHIR software preferred)
o Expertise in integrated production modeling
• Prior experience of interfacing with geoscience and well construction personnel during operational phase of development drilling campaigns
• Analytical & methodical approach to technical tasks and a strong problem solver
• Familiarity with all subsurface disciplines including geology, geophysics and well construct
