The Company:
Our client is a major operator with global assets and multi billion dollar projects. They are looking for a skilled Senior Reservoir Engineer to join their team in Milan.

The Role:
To support the definition of the optimal field development plan through EOR/IOR reservoir modelling studies, evaluation of alternative drainage pattern scenarios, pressure support mechanisms and development scenarios, and to prepare associated production profiles. To perform risk analysis and EOR/IOR uncertainties evaluation processes. To update production forecasts and to define suitable devoted strategies in mature fields.

- Evaluate the implementation of IOR/EOR technique for Company brownfields and new developments;
- Perform reservoir simulations at sector and full field scales;
- Coordinate the whole EOR process from screening, through pilots to full field development;
- Monitoring ongoing EOR projects, troubleshooting EOR production issues at subsurface and surface level (polymer and injected fluids breakthroughs; fingering, etc);
- Train younger engineers in the areas of Chemical and Miscible gas injection EOR;
- Promote innovation by recommending and implementing new EOR technologies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10-15 years' experience in the oil and gas industry with 10 years in EOR projects

At least 10 years experience in the following areas:
- EOR screening;
- EOR reservoir simulation;
- Miscible gas injection (HC, CO2, Nitrogen, WAG, etc);
- Chemical EOR (Polymer, Surfactant, ASP, Low Salinity, etc);
- Proficient in analyzing and interpreting laboratory experiment reports (SCAL, core floodings, PVT, etc);
- EOR Pilot project design (SWCTT, interwell pilots, etc) and monitoring;
- EOR Full field development implementation and monitoring;

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- MSc or PhD in Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent) from accredited Universities
