The Role:
•Technical evaluation and optimization of producing assets through the use of appropriate tools / building of models
•Identify, evaluate, recommend and justify additional opportunities to add value to the Assets
•Quarterly and annual reserves evaluation, justification and reporting for assigned Assets
•Production forecasting, follow-up and optimization of production potential of assigned assets
•Build and maintain a good understanding of the Assets through analysis of field / well data and analytical and simulation studies
•Represent the client at technical/partner meetings
•Management and supervision of external studies with contractors and consultants including contracts, budgets and work orders.
•Manage your own projects including planning and prioritising workload, managing resources and respecting deadlines.
•Keep abreast of emerging technology and application of technical best practice to maximise field performance
•They may also be assigned the role of Subsurface Team Leader responsible for the coordination and management of the Geophysical, Geological and Reservoir Engineering Team.
•Provide reservoir engineering evaluation for New Business opportunities
•Support for exploration evaluation, licensing rounds and farm-ins/farm-outs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Extensive experience in Reservoir Engineering including hands-on simulation capability and a working knowledge of standard industry reservoir engineering software such as Eclipse, OFM, Saphir, Mbal/Prosper/GAP, ARIES.
•Strong commercial awareness with a good understanding of economics.
•Sound knowledge of reserves evaluation practices and techniques.
•Experienced in field development optimization and reservoir management with exposure to drilling and well operations.
•Appropriate knowledge of geology and geophysics.
•Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
•Possess excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
•Good communication skills. Ability to actively participate in a multi-discipline team and also provide technical judgments.
•Able to cultivate an open culture, open-minded and willing to listen to suggestions and new ideas.
•Desire to develop in the role and enthusiastic to progress within the Company.
•North Sea experience is important.
