The Company:

The Role:
• To undertake reservoir engineering studies of selected fields with the objective of optimising production and economic recoverable reserves for new development schemes, to promote cost
effective alternative development opportunities for fields already in production and undertake and be responsible for their reservoir management to fulfil production and recovery targets.
• Technical representative for our client on selected major UKCS assets with special emphasis on reservoir and petroleum engineering issues.
• Supervision and mentoring of less experienced staff.
• Quality control of all work performed by subordinates where relevant.
• Conduct reservoir simulation studies and co-ordinate the reservoir and petroleum engineering input into multi-disciplinary studies.
• Carry out Material Balance Calculations and undertake reservoir simulation modelling, ensuring the quality of input and output data.
• Analyse Reservoir fluid properties and their interpretation.
• Interpret well test data and ensure that results are duly and timely confronted with or applied to geological and dynamic models.
• Ensure Reservoir data collection requirements for optimal and cost effective risk management.
• Take a pro-active role with little supervision, in developing the company objectives with respect to the selected assets.
• Integrate work with other specialists within the fields of Geology, Geophysics and Petroleum Engineering to produce a team approach to reservoir development and production
optimisation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Honours Degree in a scientific or engineering subject or Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Oil & Gas Industry.
• Significant previous experience with an Operator. Expert in reservoir simulation. Good understanding of reservoir characterization and 3D modelling techniques, basic understanding of
seismic interpretation and good understanding of operations and process facilities.
