The Company:
Our client, an international major oil and gas operator, seeks a Senior Risk / Management of Change Coordinator to join their team.

The Role:
The Senior Risk/MOC Coordinator will be used to develop and implement the project execution Risk Management Plan, including risk identification and mitigation strategies and processes and implement the Management of Change process.

• Develop and implement a Risk Management Plan supporting project including processes and procedures to identify and assess risk, develop mitigation strategies and track mitigating actions, and communicate progress to the project’s stakeholders.
• Identifies risk management tools and processes (internal and external to the company) for use by project team and contractors.
• Develop project Risk Management plans for projects using Blk 14 tools, processes and procedures.
• Develops risk management scope definition and deliverables to include in facilities engineering and construction contracts.
• Champions implementation of the project Risk Management Plan.
• Plans and facilitates qualitative risk assessments for each project risk area.
• Coordinates with project work teams to identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Reviews contractor’s risk management processes and work plans to ensure compliance/alignment with the project Risk Management Plan. Recommends necessary adjustments.
• Participates in contractors’ risk assessments.
• Works with key contacts within the project team to ensure contractor identified risk items are prioritized and mitigated in a timely manner.
• Assists Operations team to transition risk mitigation plans to the receiving organization in the business unit.
• Coordinates closure of risk mitigation plans by the project team and contractor organizations
• Support and assist as required implementing/facilitating Value Improving Practices (VIP) and Best Practice during Phases 3 and 4, Management of Change process.
• Uses risk management software selected for project.
• Develop and implement the Management of Change Plan supporting project including process and procedures to identify and assess changes, and track actions and documentation which supports the change process. Communicate change progress to project stakeholders.
• Identifies change management tools and processes (internal and external to the company) for use by project team and contractors.
• Champions implementation of the project Change Management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• BS Preferred or equivalent
• Experience: 10+ years in a Risk Management Role
• Excellent Soft Skills: Stakeholder Management, Diplomacy, Excellent Communications.
• Must have developed and implemented Risk Management Plans in a project environment.
