The Company:
Our Client is a leading international provider of solutions to the oil & gas processing and production industry, with a diverse customer portfolio including many of the world’s leading integrated, independent and national oil & gas companies.
The group delivers services through seven business units: Engineering & Construction, Engineering & Construction Ventures, Engineering Services, Offshore Engineering & Operations, Training, Production Solutions and Energy Developments.

The Role:
Responsible for overseeing relevant maintenance activities in accordance with the Maintenance Workload Control and those defined in the Work Order Procedure.
Ensure compliance with the management of change principles contained within the Engineering Controls for Safety and health/Loss.
Knowledge of procedures and standards as defined in the Competency Assurance System.
To ensure compliance with the general objectives of the Engineering Department Organisation and those of the Methods and Reliability Section in particular.
Ensure activities are executed within budgetary constraints in their area of responsibility.
Provide direction, motivation, training and technical support of/to Refinery personnel on rotating equipment.
Participate in the Refinery Reliability Programme.
Participate as required in Shutdowns and T&Is.
Provide out of hours cover.
Supply assistance and technical support to APT as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Strong mechanical engineering background, possessing significant relevant experience within a large petrochemical or similar heavy industrial environment.
Relevant engineering qualification at HNC.
IT literate with strong communication and co-ordination skills.
In-depth knowledge and experience of predictive maintenance monitoring techniques pumps, turbines, compressors, ancillary equipment and acceptance testing of new machines.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Incorporated or Chartered Engineer with a relevant institute.
