The Role:
Degree or equivalent professional qualification in relevant engineering discipline or significant experience in a similar role as Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer experienced with specification, evaluation and purchase of pumps and Turbo - machinery for cryogenic services for at least 10 years. Must be conversant with major codes (specifically API616, API617, API610 and ASME).

- Development / Review / Specifications of rotating equipment for cryogenic services during FEED and EPC stages of the project.
- Carrying-out out pre-qualification and technical evaluations
- Preparing, in co-operation with the Contract Engineer, submissions to the appropriate approving authority based on the value of the contract.
- Ensure all commitments are made within the approved contract value.
- Ensure HSE is appropriately managed in accordance with company policies.

• It is the responsibility of the Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to direct and supervise the engineering and management service contractor throughout the design execution beginning with conceptual design.
• The Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer also oversees procurement and the construction activities of the later stages to ensure that timing, cost and quality standards are all being met sufficiently.
• The Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer provides technical input, according to the requirements of the projects, into technical studies and the basis for design of onshore processing and production facilities.
• It is also the responsibility of the Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to ensure that the transfer of data and information among contractors and the company is smooth.
• The Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer has the responsibility of identifying and assessing all new technology and the systems to allow for gas compression for large-scale midstream development.
• In addition, the Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer must also lead the adoption, identification or creation of engineering standards for extensive rotating equipment and machinery packages, including turbine or electric motor driven compressors, generators and pumps, according to national customs and standards.
• The Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer advise on rotating equipment availability, sparing philosophies and standardization.
• The Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer must also assess the limitations and capabilities of industrial infrastructure and incorporation into the planning for development as well as in the process of risk mitigation.
• Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer is also expected to participate in process safety management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Offshore Engineering
- Fluent English required
- Some ability in Italian preferred
- 10 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience, project development, engineering , design review, CSU and O&M experience.
- The ideal candidate should have experience at Lead Engineer level for the Rotating Equipment Engineering function for upstream and midstream Oil & Gas development projects with particular previous experience in FLNG, LNG Plants, offshore Gas developments, Floating Production Units
- Experience across all phases of project development (concept generation, evaluation and selection preferred; FEED, and execution essential)
- Experience working with an Owner organization essential; experience with main Contractor preferred.
