The Company:
Our client is a leading oil & gas operator.

The Role:
MISSIONS
The service Provider shall :
1. Work under the leadership of the Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer based on priorities provided.
2. Call for, participate to and/or organise all the necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the work.
3. Highlighting critical issues to the leader or LNG Facilities Engineering Manager and propose Engineering remedial actions.
4. Act as Requisition Engineer where applicable.
5. Provide support and expertise to the other relevant discipline as well as to the Operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up preparation teams.
6. Ensure that the LNG PLANT (or LNG Facilities when applicable) detailed design for mechanical and rotating equipment packages, in particular (air compressors, diesel engine driven gen sets, centrifugal and cryogenic pumps, compressors) complies with the Project S.O.R., the contract documentation, schedule, budget and safety practices.
7. Avoid LNG PLANT EPC contractor stand-by/delays by prompt response to technical clarifications and technical deviations and unexpected technical issues, by a proactive and proficient approach.
8. Contribute to improving the project lessons learnt by providing a feedback and lessons learnt report.
9. Promote alternatives design to optimize works and schedule.

ACTIVITES
• To provide, extensively, technical review and comment to the mechanical and rotating equipment engineering and procurement engineering deliverables (CONTRACTOR and VENDOR).
• To coordinate with other discipline engineers, in particular when Leader for comments consolidation of engineering and Vendors deliverables.
• To participate to technical reviews during the detailed engineering and procurement phase.
• To ensure proper reporting to the lead discipline, the Head of Rotating equipment department and LNG Facilities Engineering Manager as applicable.,
• To follow up, control and comment all equipment/packages handling all documentation in close collaboration with the operations and maintenance specialists and other disciplines.
• To participate to technical meetings, challenge the EPC Contractor, monitor and promote cost saving solutions in the design.
• To participate to the equipment Factory Acceptance Tests where required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Diploma: Chartered Engineer with proven experience with rotating equipment for LNG plant (diesel engine gen sets, compressors, air compressors, centrifugal pumps and packages) including other specific packages such as WHRU.
Familiar and conversant with RAM studies and their interpretation for the design. Experienced in vendor dwg & documents reviews.
Professional experience: 10 years proven experience of LNG projects, large onshore projects and arctic conditions.
Good teamwork, strong minded.
Fluent in English.
