The Role:
- Based in Brisbane, an opportunity exists for a Senior Safety & Risk Engineer with extensive experience in the process industries to work in the Safety & Risk group within our Northern Operations on the QCLNG project.
- Initially, the successful applicant would be required to act as the Safety & Risk Engineer on a one of our major CSM to LNG Projects, joining an established project team.

The candidate should have the following skills:

- Hazard Studies (project or existing facilities), using Concept Studies, HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, Bow-tie analysis.
- Consequence (Dispersion, Jet Fire and Explosion) and Likelihood Modelling.
- Safety Management Studies.
- Escape, Evacuation, Rescue and Muster Analysis
- Emergency Systems Survivability Assessments
- QRA (Qualitative Risk Assessment)
- Safety Case Development and Process Safety Management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- You will be a proven performer, with the required technical expertise, comfortable leading formal review teams, as well as possessing the capability of managing scopes of work within an allocated budget.
- A recognised Engineering Degree with extensive post graduate experience in the process industries with a strong interest in Safety Engineering is required.
- Post graduate qualifications in Process Safety will be highly regarded.
- Strong inter-personal, report-writing and communication skills are required for this role.
