The Client Company offers a full range of automation and control solutions to key vertical markets, including Energy, Pulp & Paper, and Chemicals/Pharmaceuticals, and develops/markets industrial automation systems and advanced software applications. The company offers a range of Lifecycle Services to the installed base of our systems.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced, highly professional and motivated Sales Manager to lead our Korea Region Sales team. The main purpose of this role will be to plan, direct and control sales business strategies and activities within South Korea & Japan market. The key to your success will be ensuring customer satisfaction through sales planning and account management and employee satisfaction through performance and career management.

** Please note that the full proficiency in Korean language is essential for this position.

Report to : Regional Sales Manager in Korea/Japan

• Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual financial targets.
• Day to day management of Process Instrument / Modular Systems (hereinafter referred as PIMS) sales team
• Performance management, career and succession planning for all sales employees
• Business improvement, achieving aggressive productivity targets. Be the champion of sales processes and disciplines
• Strategic account management of key accounts, OEMs, EPCs, Panel Builders, etc.
• Accurate planning and forecasting of sales performance
• Act as industry spokesperson and figurehead in order to promote Honeywell’s name and capability around PIMS portfolio
• Aggressively deploy new business initiatives
• Customer relationship management processes and increasing customer satisfaction levels
• System and consulting knowledge applicable to vertical markets
• Understanding of key processes, economic drivers in order to develop valued customer partnership in control and business solutions
• Account (New & Existing) Development
• Consult/investigate key business opportunities with range of customer contacts
• “Product” solutions design and planning with internal CAPS (Customer and Product Support) resources and supplier contacts
• Proposal Generation
• Manage metrics around bookings and incentive planning tool for PIMS Sales team
• Team and Self Development

Key Success Factors
• Deliver target growth as defined in the Annual Operating Plan
• Strategies and initiatives to attain growth in the region
• Leadership and mentoring throughout the organization
• Executive sponsorship for select customers
• Accurate forecast/SIOP of orders, revenue and growth opportunities
• STRAP initiatives performance
• Achieve Indirect sales targets for geography (% direct vs % indirect)
• MAP (Mutual Action Plan) initiation, analysis and evaluation for Channel Business

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
• Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred
• Prior experience of managing a team of sales professionals
• Prior commercial sales experience in closing large and complex contractual agreements is preferred
• Prior experience of working within an international multinational organisation will be distinct advantage.
