The Company:
Our client is one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world, with activities in more than 130 countries.

The Role:
Service provider shall be
• work under the leadership of the LNG Facilities Lead Structural/Civil and Modularization Engineer and replace him when on mission or on leave for the specific scope related to the structural and modularization design.
• provide review, comment and propose approval to the detailed engineering and procurement engineering deliverables from PROJECT and LNG Facilities other EPC Contractors and RDIs as applicable.
• provide review, comment and propose approval to the detailed engineering and procurement engineering deliverables from PROJECT Vendors and Subcontractors.
• provide support and assistance to the project engineering interfaces management efforts. To coordinate with his colleague in charge of the same scope at PROJECT Yokohama offices.
• propose or provide answers to the technical queries and deviations in close coordination with his N+1.
• provide review, comment and propose approval to the detailed design (Proyek-2 and PSTS) documentation from PROJECT and ENVI.
• ensure LNG Facilities, in particular the LNG PLANT and LNG Tanks detailed design for structural and modularization is optimized, and complies with the Russian Federation codes and standards and DESIGN DOSSIERS, including PSTS.
• avoid EPC Contractors and RDIs stand-by and delays by prompt response to engineering clarifications and technical deviations (if any) and unexpected technical issues, by a proactive and efficient approach.

In addition to the activities under section “Missions” above:
To participate to technical reviews during the detailed design execution phase: to provide support, expertise and contribution on structural and modularization design and procurement issues.
To provide review, analysis and comments (including challenging PROJECT ) of the revised structural steel MTOs.
To ensure proper reporting, highlighting critical issues to his lead engineer and to the LNG Facilities Engineering Manager and propose remedial actions when required, including preparation of technical memos and position papers.
To contribute to improving the Project lessons learnt and personnel skills.
To promote cost and schedule effective technical solutions, to challenge the EPC Contractors and RDIs accordingly.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered (preferably) Russian Engineer with specialisation in structural design included calculation

• 10 years minimum. Structural calculations and design specialist with proven experience of LNG projects or large onshore projects and proven experience with similar installations in the Russian Federation.
• Fully conversant with the Russian Federation codes and standards for structural design of large structures and modules.
• Good teamwork, strong minded.
