The Company:
Our client is a global leader in the design and delivery of infrastructure, power and major engineering projects around the world. Their clients come to them for a wide range of advice, resources and skills - in engineering, maintaining infrastructure, managing construction, planning and strategic thinking.

The Role:
Our client are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to work in their Newcastle based offices.

The ideal candidate will have significant design experience in all common structural materials and be well versed in both British Standards and Eurocodes. They should ideally have experience of providing a technical lead to other Engineers, checking the work produced by others, and mentoring coaching and developing of junior staff. Some ability in the financial management of projects and experience of client liaison is also required.

The role may involve structural work across a number of sectors: highways, rail, buildings and power and some experience in these sectors would be an advantage. This role is based in the Newcastle office but a flexible approach is required as the position is likely to require work elsewhere in the UK and overseas.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will be a Chartered Civil/ Structural Engineer with a relevant honours degree
