The Role:
Provides an effective and proactive operational integrity support service to the Asset ensuring compliance with Integrity Management System. The role primarily relates to topsides facilities and structures for the Asset Group.

Key Duties

• Act as focal point for all asset-specific integrity issues topsides and subsea (including pipelines)
• Liaison with the Integrity Contractor(s) to ensure that the asset register, inspection strategies, programs, plans of inspection and condition monitoring are complete and current.
• Ensuring that inspection and integrity histories are maintained and accessible, and that these are maintained by the Integrity and Inspection Enactment Contractors as required.
• Liaising with the Integrity Engineering contractors to ensure that programs of work, annual plans and work-packs are effectively included in the Work Management System (TMax) and fully comply with planning gate criteria.
• Maintaining a register of the critical threats, risks to HSE and business performance for the asset, and for ensuring that these threats and risks are effectively communicated, understood, owned and managed by the asset.
• Maintaining, communicating and reporting an overview of the inspection plan status and where applicable, its backlog, ensuring that this is regularly communicated and discussed within the Asset in a timely manner.
• Maintaining an overview of, communicating and reporting the status of integrity related anomalies, technical notes (TNs), technical queries (TQs), repair orders (ROs) and Approval for Alteration (AFA) requests.
• Leading at least an annual review of integrity findings, condition/threat/risk status and propose changes to integrity assurance programs for the asset.
• Maintaining strong relationships with the following critical interfaces:
o Assets’ Operations Manager(s) or their appointed delegate(s)
o Integrity Lead Engineer
o Functional Technical Authorities (including Beatrice WGPSN Duty holder TAs)
o Decommissioning Engineers
o Activity Integration Lead
o Offshore Integrity Engineer(s)
o Engineering Coordinator (Repair orders and AFAs)
o Maintenance Superintendent (critical valves, ICP actions, pumps, etc.)
o Production Chemist
o Integrity Engineering and enactment contractors
o Technical Safety Engineer assigned to the asset
o Production Superintendent (Integrity threats and production loss evaluation)
o Projects (Integrity input to major alterations and capital projects)
o Integrity Engineers (standardisation and use of best practice)
• Act as Competent Person for Integrity Assurance issues as delegated by the Technical Authority
• Act as focal point for Written Schemes of Verification and Performance Standards and maintain good working relationships with ICP, HSE and other external stakeholders.
• Support integrity-related incident or near miss investigations, provide support in Root Cause Assessments and communicate Lessons Learned to stakeholders following RCA process.
• Ensure close budget and cost control of the assets’ integrity budget, supporting the Cost Controller in tracking and managing costs and in reviewing costed proposals and invoices.
• Assist with the compilation of annual budget for integrity-related activities.
• Track and analyse integrity-related Key Performance Indicator trends to identify potential issues.
• Progress and close-out assigned integrity related PLE, ICP, HSE and Synergi actions.
• Provide input to changes in Global standards, their direction, development and improvement.
• Respond to requests for deviation from procedures or specifications.
• Respond to requests for deferral of safety critical repairs and inspections.
• Support clients Management of Change system – people, processes – where this may impact on ongoing integrity.
• Support Corporate HSE and Integrity audit and investigation as required

Become sufficiently familiar with key processes, tools and systems to provide support to team as required (including but not limited to): Production Loss Management System (PLMS), Inspection Reporting System (IRS), TMax, Cimage, Management System and controlled documents, COABIS, Chemical Reporting and Corrosion Management (CRCM), Performance Scorecards (existing and yet to be developed business objects’ reports), ICP action tracker, Synergi, Etc.

Education, Experience & Technical Qualifications

• Professional Engineer, preferably Chartered, with extensive experience in the areas of corrosion, inspection and integrity management with relevant tertiary education, professional qualifications.
• Significant experience within the offshore Oil & Gas industry covering key aspects of pressure systems, pipelines and/or structural integrity management.
• Good knowledge of legislation, guidance and regulations.
• Preferably, experience acting in capacity of Technical Authority for hydrocarbon containment or similar key integrity element.
• Strong commitment to both Process Safety and Personal Safety, and an understanding of the importance to business delivery of effective integrity management
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (intermediate level)
