The Company:
Our Client is an international oil and gas company with operated production of about 650,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in various offshore and onshore locations. They have ongoing exploration and production activities worldwide, and have over 50 years of experience turning marginal and challenging fields into commercial successes.

The Role:
Manage subsea and surface trees, wellheads, associated equipment design, installation and operations procedures and in accordance with incident free. The position will be based onshore in Luanda, Angola
•Design and lead the tree and wellhead programmes.
•Manage the relevant parts of Well Delivery Process (WDP).
•Develop tree designs to meet all current standards, guidelines and project requirements.
•Assist with tree and wellhead procurement and contracts.
•Review and approve vendor design, assembly and testing documents.
•Oversee construction QA/QC and co-ordinate third party equipment procurement and interface testing.
•Ensure design reviews include the wellhead system/tree interfaces.
•Perform rig surveys and implement rig/equipment modifications where necessary.
•Take responsibility of BOP/Tree/Wellhead and tubing hanger interfaces.
•Co-ordinate offshore and onshore operations supervision for the associated equipment and personnel.
•Responsibility will extend to the completions programme, for operations regarding tree, tubing hanger, SSTT and BOP interface issues.
•Provide trouble-shooting support for offshore problem solving.
•Generate post-operations reports and implement lessons learned.
•Ensure well handover and subsea documents are completed in a timely manner.
•Liaise with facilities and project subsea engineers for well hook-ups and future equipment design enhancements to increase installation and operational efficiency.
•Liaise with and support Facilities and Project Engineers for all tree intervention work.
•Develop and manage the relationship with the designated suppliers so that the service delivery and quality is optimised.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering.
•Deepwater Development experience.
•Minimum of 10 years Subsea Engineering experience.
•Ability to work independently with a small measure of supervision.
•Strong analytical and technical skills.
•Good organizational skills to complete assignments with varying degrees of complexity.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the various Oil and External stake holders that are located though out the world.
•Must be a team player.
•High quality standards and a sense of urgency will be extremely beneficial.
