The Role:
The Senior Technical Assistant will report to the Compliance Director and will play a key role in providing confidential, timely and superior-quality document storage, control and distribution processes. In addition the Technical Assistant will also provide administration /back up support to VP, Compliance secretary.

Key accountabilities
•Supports Compliance Director and can be entrusted to handle confidential and sensitive information
•Willingness to take ownership of decisions made on manager's behalf and accept responsibility for all actions
•Communicates and/or coordinates all document support processes with respect to Monitor programs
•Covers VP Admin role for periods of vacation / absence and when operationally required
•Helps coordinate monitor activities and appointments
•Initiates/drafts/edits correspondence for manager’s final approval; handles routine correspondence that does not require manager’s attention
•Manages document system
•Prioritizes work to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; plans ahead to meet anticipated future situations/ issues
•Responsible for travel arrangements, meeting logistics, business expense statements, purchase orders and invoices
•Assist in Monitor activities planned and hosted by GOM and liaises with E&C admin support to co-ordinate support

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Highly self-motivated and adaptable with strong communication skills
-Proactive in managing own accountabilities and performance assurance (e.g., attention to details)
•Minimum of 10 years of administrative experience
•Broad knowledge of corporate operations and policy; high level of experience, discretion, and technical skills
•Analytical and problem-solving skills
•Mastery level of competence in interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including networking
•Mastery level of competence in planning and organizing skills
•High level of tact and integrity due to the great frequency of senior-level internal and external contacts and regular exposure to confidential data.
•Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Access)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Leadership skills in working with peers and teams; has impact on cross-teams
•CPS (Certified Professional Secretary) and/or CAP (Certified Administrative Professional)
