They are constantly developing new products and adapting services to meet the needs of business customers throughout the country.

The Role:
Responsible for Technical Safety support provision to Aberdeen Projects.
Project Technical Safety Eng. The successful applicant will be the focal point for Technical safety matters to the Project Engineering team covering subsea, topsides and HUC teams.
The jobholder will promote the use of professional HSE tools, principles and objectives and ensure compliance with our BMS and ensure alignment of contractor HSE Processes where appropriate.
The Project Tech Safety Eng. reports to the Project Engineering Manager day to day and functionally to the Project HSE Team Lead.
Coordinate delivery of Design Notification.
Delivery of ad hoc Tech Safety Notes and briefings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Technical Degree qualified.
Experience in a similar role.
Must have experience within the oil and gas industry, specifically Greenfield contracts preferred.
Current offshore medical and valid BOSIET.
Good knowledge of Policies, Standards and related HSE legislation requirements incl SCR05, DCR and PFEER incl Performance Standards.
Demonstrable experience within a Technical safety role with specific experience working in a Project environment advantageous.
Demonstrate capability and good understanding of HEMP tools and techniques.
Capable of ensuring Tech safety studies produced in support of Project development are robust and that key data is applied across design.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work on own initiative.
Experienced in design of process safety systems including active and passive fire protection, emergency shut-down, and emergency de-pressurisation Determine AFP/PFP for fire and explosion prevention requirements including layout and spill management.
