I am now seeking an experienced Senior Telecoms Engineer to join their successful team in Perth, WA. As Senior Telecoms Engineer for a portfolio of Oil & Gas projects, you will be required to carry out engineering design activities as directed by the Lead Engineer and function effectively as a member of the discipline team assembled to execute the project or projects to which you are assigned.

To apply for this role, you will require the following:

Bachelor of Engineering degree from a recognised university; lower qualifications with equivalent experience will be considered
Extensive work experience at a senior level in resource industries such as Oil & Gas and mining.
An ability to lead and manage small groups of engineers and designers within discipline teams, in the execution of project tasks.
Sound technical knowledge of the following technologies:
• Vsat System
• Microwave LOS System
• Trunk Radio Systems
• UHF Repeater Systems
• VHF Marine / GMDSS Systems
• HF Radio Systems
• PAGA Systems
• LAN / WAN System Design
• SDH / PDH Systems
• Meteorological Monitoring System
• Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
• Marine Radar System
Significant previous experience with a major engineering design services provider
Some ‘hands-on’ experience in a construction or operating plant environment would be desirable
