The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
My client is looking to recruit a UK based Oil & Gas Telecoms Engineer, initially to work with bids and proposals for international projects and then to take responsibility for supervising project execution teams.

Key duties & responsibilities:

- Work with a variety of clients to develop Telecom System solutions
- Contribute to the Telecoms elements of a proposal during the bid stage of projects
- Lead project teams and site teams as the Senior Telecoms Engineering representative
- Prepare Functional Descriptions for specific projects.
- Occassionally work overseas to meet with the client as part of the proejct review process

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in Electronic/ Communications related subject.
• Significant experience in Telecoms - preferably Oil and Gas however may also consider candidates that have considerable experience in Rail or Energy Markets
• Expertise in a wide range of telecom systems including security, CCTV, Intruder alerts, telecoms between platforms / towers etc.
• Full UK driving Licence

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered status or working towards
